I recently visited the Susan B. Anthony House with my kids; this was the first time I had ever visited. After the impressive tour,I felt badly that I had waited so long to go! This is a wonderful destination for locals and out of town visitors, full of history, great information and very educational! The house is located at 17 Madison Street off West Main Street!

I tend to visit Letchworth State Park often. I am facinated by the beautiful scenery and the tranquility that it offers. It is just a great place to picnic, hike, and honestly just breathe. Everyone that I have taken there has absolutely loved it.

What better place then the Mecca of Rochester...Downtown! Downtown is filled with history and the true essence of what Rochester is all about. Not to mention throughout the streets of downtown Rochester, there are icons on various corners that share parts of Rochester's history such as the old subway and the how the Genesee River came about. Anybody visiting Rochester can appreciate and enjoy Downtown Rochester!

When I have friends from out of town visiting, and they have children, I take them to the Strong Museum of Play. The kids have a great time, and their parents are empressed as well. And people of all ages love the butterfly habitat.

We love to visit the museums. Strong Museum for the younger kids and Rochester Museum and Science Center.

In the winter I love to take people to the zoo. It's a great place to walk outside for kids and adults, with a little spot to get lunch, and if it's really cold you can duck inside several places to warm up!

If I was going to take someone from out of town anywhere in Rochester it would have to be Nick Tahou's. There are many places now a days doing plates but Tahou's is the only true garbage plate place and everyone I know who comes to Rochester from somewhere else always asks about it.
